Company overview

Kairos Foundation Group is a prime contractor for below-grade and deep foundation work, serving Austin’s most exceptional homes and most ambitious developments. We contract directly with homeowners, developers, and builders, then subcontract field execution to a network of 400+ vetted specialty contractors across Central Texas, holding the client relationship and running execution from first evaluation through final delivery. With 20+ years of combined foundation and construction industry experience on the team, Kairos is one point of contact — start to finish.

Central Texas ground drives our specialization: expansive clay soils that punish under-engineered shallow foundations, hillside and waterfront lots across the Hill Country and Lake Austin, and schedule-critical builds where a missed foundation milestone cascades through the entire project. We evaluate the site, scope the right foundation system, and coordinate the specialty contractors who carry it out.

Core capabilities
  • Helical pile installation — our lead foundation method, engineered piers for new construction and retrofit support
  • Drilled piers and caissons — straight-shaft and belled, sized to the site’s geotechnical report
  • Foundation underpinning and retrofit stabilization — for settling or distressed existing foundations
  • Slope and retaining wall stabilization — for hillside and difficult-terrain lots across the Hill Country
  • Ongoing foundation monitoring and maintenance — tracking performance after installation

What makes Kairos Foundation Group different from a typical foundation sub?

Differentiators
01

Built for Central Texas ground, not generic ground.

Expansive clay in Round Rock, cut-and-fill hillside lots in West Austin, and karst-influenced ground near the Balcones Escarpment aren’t the same problem. We evaluate every site against the geotechnical report in front of us, not a regional average, then scope the foundation system and pier schedule to match.

02

Early involvement, before the scope is final.

We review plans and geotechnical data during design and preconstruction, not after the fact. Bringing Kairos in early surfaces foundation-driven cost and schedule risk while it’s still cheap to fix.

03

Deadline-disciplined, start to finish.

A bid invitation or project inquiry with a due date gets a response by that due date. We tell you early — not at the last minute — if something needs clarification before we can scope it.

04

One accountable relationship, evaluation to delivery.

Kairos holds the client relationship and coordinates the foundation scope end to end through a network of 400+ vetted specialty contractors across Central Texas — one point of contact, not three separate subs.
