Accessibility Statement
This Accessibility Statement explains Kairos Foundation Group’s target standard, what has been done, and how to report a barrier.
Kairos Foundation Group is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility.
What does Kairos Foundation Group actually do to make this site accessible?
Keyboard navigation
Every interactive element — links, buttons, and form fields — is reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
Descriptive alt text
Photographs used to illustrate site conditions and construction methods carry descriptive alternative text rather than generic or missing labels.
Semantic structure
Pages use heading levels, landmark regions, and a “skip to main content” link so screen-reader and keyboard users can navigate content in a logical order.
Form labels
Every form field on this Site has a visible, programmatically associated label, and required fields are marked in a way assistive technology can announce.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time certification. We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit of this Site, and we cannot claim full, verified WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across every page and every assistive technology combination. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it so we can fix it.
If any part of this Site is difficult to use with assistive technology, please tell us through the Contact page and describe the page, the barrier you encountered, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We will make a reasonable effort to address genuine accessibility barriers.
